Have you ever wondered about the origin of Rebel Boy Media's name? Some people assume it's a reflection of the content we produce or our mischievous nature. But the truth is, it all began with a chance encounter back in 2016.
We were filming the band Landspeeder at the iconic Dublin Castle in Camden for our documentary "24 Hours with Landspeeder." At the end of the gig, we were chatting with some members of the public when a man named Seamus Bradey asked for our names.
The conversation went like this:
Seamus Bradey: What's your name, sir?
Michael Collins: Michael Collins
Seamus Bradey: Michael Collins?
Michael Collins: Yes.
Seamus Bradey: The Rebel Boy!
Andy Fish: He never made it to the moon landing.
And that's how our company name was born. We loved the catchy, rebellious ring to it and decided to run with it.
Interestingly, you can even find Seamus' quote on the IMDB listing for our documentary. It just goes to show that sometimes, the most unexpected encounters can lead to the best ideas.
