An Update (Sort of)

If COVID has taught me anything, it is that the phrase "time flies when you're having fun" is not necessarily true.

Like many businesses, we are preparing for the end of COVID restrictions. Hopefully, this means the end, and that lockdown 4.0 does not occur.

We recently gave our website and software a considerable upgrade. We now provide clients who book video productions with us access to our online Video Production and Planning software. This software is made in-house by us, which means it fits our exact requirements. Any new customers booking video productions from next week will be booked through this new software.

We will provide a more detailed update on this, but basically, the new software gives clients direct access to our production planning system. Clients can provide information relevant to the production, as well as sign agreements online using this new system. We hope this will make jobs run even smoother and give clients direct access to our progress and updates.

Additionally, we are finalizing some content and layout updates to the website. We like to keep our content up to date and fresh. Clients registered with our MyAccount service should also notice a few minor updates.

Back and Filming

Regarding our actual work, we are relieved to be back out filming. Despite having a general exemption for filming, clients were not trading, so it was of little use. But on the bright side, we are now getting back out there to film, and there does seem to be a good plan to end the restrictions.

Recently, we have been surviving on web work from clients who have found time to update their sites during lockdown. Our time has been split between that and our upgrades, but as our upgrades have been completed and the web work is going well (mainly due to clients getting back to work), we are eager to get out and film.

4K RAW and More

We now shoot in 4K RAW (with up to 5.5K available). The video coming out of our new equipment is beautiful!
